PINE BLUFF SCHOOL DISTRICT INFO
The Pine Bluff School District was annexed with the former Dollarway School District in July 2021 while Pine Bluff School District was still under state control. The return of the Pine Bluff School district to local control in September 2023 required the rezoning of the annexed PBSD district into seven zones. The first election of democratically elected board members was in November 2024 with zones 6 and 7. Act 503 of 2025 required the election of Zones 1,2,3, and 5 in March 2026. Zones 1,3, and 5 are unopposed. Therefore, Zone 2 has two candidates Arnold Robertson and State Appointed Limited Board member, LozAnne Calhoun seeking to be elected. The remaining Zones 5, 6, and 7 will be elected in March 2028.
